Filter Coffee Guide

Our Standard recipes for filter brews

 

Recipes:

V60 or Conical Brewer 1:16 (88 - 98 Deg C) - Medium Grind

Our standard recipe: 15g / 240g water /3 pours

1. 60g @ Start (Circular pours)

2. 60g @ 45Secs (Circular Pours)

3. 120g @ 1min 30sec (High pour for 5 secs to centric pour)

Total Brew Time: 2min 30secs to 3mins

 

Kalita Or Flat Bed Brewer 1:16 (88 - 98 Deg C) - Medium-Coarse Grind

Our standard recipe: 15g / 240g water /3 pours

1. 60g @ Start (Circular pours)

2. 60g @ 45Secs (Circular Pours)

3. 120g @ 1min 30sec (High pour for 5 secs to centric pour)

Total Brew Time: 2min 30secs to 3mins

 

Aeropress 1:12(88-98 Deg C) - Fine-Medium Grind

Our standard recipe: 20g /240g water

1. Place filter on aeropress and rest it on server.

2. Pour in grounds followed by water, and with a stirrer, stir in NS direction 10 times, EW direction 10times. Place plunger on and let sit for 2mins.

3. Plunge slowly within 30secs. Dilute with water according to taste. Enjoy!

Total Brew Time: 2min 30secs

 

Clever Dripper 1:15 (88-98 Deg C) - Coarse Grind

Our standard recipe: 20g coffee / 300g Water

1. Pour coffee grounds in carafe and pour water into it, with circular pours.

2. Place on plunger (Without Plunging) and let steep for 3-5mins depending on strength preference.

3. Slowly plunge (Within 30secs), let sit for further 3mins (To allow grounds to settle), gently pour coffee into serving vessal. Enjoy!

 

French Press 1:15 (88-98 Deg C) - Coarse Grind

Our standard recipe: 20g coffee / 300g Water

Brew Temperature:

Light roast: 95-98 Deg C

Med-Light Roasts: 92 - 94 Deg C

Dark Roasts: 88 - 91 Deg C
